YouTube RPM calculator
Estimate monthly ad revenue from views, using typical RPM ranges for each faceless niche.
RPM is what a creator receives per 1,000 views after YouTube's share. Not every view shows an ad, so the calculator applies the monetized share first. Ranges come from typical RPMs for each niche; audience country and video length move the real number the most.
Questions
What is RPM on YouTube?
RPM (revenue per mille) is how much a creator earns per 1,000 views after YouTube takes its 45% share of ad revenue. It counts all views, including ones that showed no ad, so it is lower than CPM.
What is a good RPM for a faceless channel?
It depends on the niche. Faceless channels in finance & business ($10–24), aging & retirement ($9–20), money & frugal living ($8–18) earn the most per view; entertainment, kids and story niches usually earn $1–5.
How much does YouTube pay for 100,000 views?
Roughly $100–$2,000, depending on niche and audience. At a $4 RPM, 100,000 views earn about $400; finance and business channels with a US audience can earn several times that.
Why is my RPM lower than the calculator?
Shorts, viewers outside high-paying countries, made-for-kids settings, short videos with no mid-roll ads, and the time of year (ad rates peak in Q4) all lower RPM.
