This Dog’s Strange Behavior Prevented An Explosion

Kobe, a Siberian Husky owned by Chanell Bell, kept digging at the same spot beside a sidewalk in Philadelphia. At first, his owner thought he was simply bored and filled the hole back in. But when he returned to dig again, she checked the area with a detector and discovered a gas leak beneath the ground. Crews later found additional leaks that could have caused a dangerous explosion. Kobe’s unusual behavior helped uncover a hidden danger.
