Giving an Abandoned Fishing Cabin a Second Life | Day 1

Hello, I'm Dmitry. During one of my hikes, I came across an old abandoned fishing cabin standing beside a wild river. The location was incredible—quiet water, autumn forest, fresh air, and complete solitude. It was hard to understand why such a beautiful place had been left behind. I decided to give the cabin a second life. Today was my first day here. I spent most of the day cleaning out years of dirt and debris, repairing parts of the roof, checking the old stove, and making the place safe enough to stay overnight. The work took almost the entire day, but I enjoyed every moment of it—the sound of the river, the smell of the autumn forest, and the feeling of slowly bringing this forgotten place back to life. By evening, I cleaned everything up, prepared a simple sleeping place, lit the stove, and settled in for my first night inside the cabin. This is only the beginning. #FishingCabin #CabinRestoration #AbandonedCabin #RiversideCabin #OffGrid #Wilderness #ForestCabin #AutumnForest #LivingAlone #NatureASMR #WoodStove #SimpleLiving #ForestLife #CabinLife #Restoration
