Petted a Porcupine, Stolen by an Eagle: 24 Hours of a Baby Baboon

The Chacma baboon (Papio ursinus) is one of the most formidable primates on Earth. Armed with canine teeth longer than those of an African leopard and backed by a sophisticated vocal communication network, their true evolutionary weapon is collective defense. When one member is targeted, an entire clan responds as a single coordinated army. In this documentary, we explore the developmental psychology, anti-predator warfare, and dramatic rescue operations of Africa's highland primates. #wildlife #animals #documentary #nature #survival #dungbeetle #honeybadger #africawildlife #baboon
