Description

වාහනයක එන්ජිම ක්‍රියාත්මක වන විට, සිලින්ඩර තුළින් එන්ජිමේ පහළ කොටසට (Crankcase) කාන්දු වන අහිතකර දුම් සහ වාෂ්ප (Blow-by gases) ඉවත් කිරීම PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) Valve එක මඟින් සිදු කරයි. මෙම Valve එක හරහා එම අහිතකර වාෂ්ප නැවතත් එන්ජිමේ දහන කුටීරය වෙත (Intake Manifold) යොමු කර පුළුස්සා දමන අතර, එමඟින් එන්ජින් ඔයිල් නරක් වීම වළක්වා එන්ජිමේ ආයු කාලය මෙන්ම පරිසරයද ආරක්ෂා කරයි. මෙය අවහිර වුවහොත් එන්ජිමෙන් ඔයිල් ලීක් වීම සහ වාහනයේ ධාවන කාර්යක්ෂමතාව අඩු වීම සිදු විය හැක.
