IRAN Village Life | A Rural Girl's Daily Routine, Packing Pomegranates and Making Juice

Join me for a peaceful day in an Iranian village and experience a simple rural girl’s daily routine in the countryside of Iran. In this video, I pick fresh pomegranates from the garden and make fresh pomegranate juice at home. I also use the homemade pomegranate juice to prepare Kal Kabab (Kaleh Kabab), a traditional northern Iranian dish with a delicious combination of pomegranate and herbs. For the Kal Kabab, I first roast eggplants over the fire until they become soft and smoky. Then I peel and mash the eggplants and mix them with fresh pomegranate juice, ground walnuts, garlic, and chopped herbs. I season everything to taste and mix the ingredients together until the flavors come together. The result is a simple and flavorful traditional Iranian village dish.
