Description

Welcome to Rose Garden Living! VIDEO: Cucumber Leaves Curling and Young Fruits Wilting? Check for Thrips! Are your cucumber leaves curling while young fruits start to wilt or fall off? 🌱 Your plants may be dealing with thrips. In this video, I’ll show you a simple homemade spray using onion and cinnamon that may help manage thrips on cucumber plants. For this recipe, I blend 100g of onion with 1 liter of water, then add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. I let the mixture steep for 24 hours before straining it thoroughly to remove all the residue. Finally, I add 2–3 drops of mild dish soap to help the spray adhere to the leaves. I spray the solution thoroughly over the cucumber leaves, paying special attention to the undersides of the leaves and new growth where thrips may hide. I’ll also show you how I apply this homemade spray and what changes I observed in my cucumber plants afterward. ⚠️ Always test the solution on a few leaves first and observe the plant for any adverse reaction before spraying the entire plant. If your cucumber plants are flowering and fruiting but suddenly develop curled leaves and wilting young fruits, check carefully for thrips and act early. 🌱 Thanks for watching, and I hope this simple gardening tip helps you keep your cucumber plants healthy and productive! #RoseGardenLiving #HomeGardening#Cucumbers#Tomatoes#Peppers
