Knight Rider APRIL CURTIS - The Heart of the Machine

APRIL CURTIS — THE HEART OF THE MACHINE In Season 2 of Knight Rider, April Curtis stepped into the role of KITT’s technician while Bonnie Barstow was away pursuing her studies. But April brought her own personality to the Knight Industries team. Where Bonnie had a strong connection with Michael, April is much more focused on KITT — the technology, the systems, and the incredible machine she is responsible for keeping alive. And Michael Knight? To April, he can be one thing above all: A reckless rider. Every turbo boost, hard landing and impossible chase means another repair job waiting for her afterward. And while she may have plenty of sarcastic comments for Michael, there is one thing she genuinely wants: KITT and Michael to come home in one piece. This song tells April’s story from her own perspective — her bond with KITT, her dry humor, her technical obsession, and her constant struggle with Michael’s rather... enthusiastic driving. A little 80s synthpop, a little glam rock, and a whole lot of KITT.
