Hortus Regis Alti (Soviet folk ver.) | ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE OST

Hortus Regis Alti from ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE, reimagined as a nostalgic Soviet folk-orchestral ballad inspired by the stories of exiles and their longing to return home. From: ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE Source song: Hortus Regis Alti by Keiki Kobayashi and Linnéa Björn ⚙ Sovia's Note Comrades, somewhere beyond the horizon, the lights of home are still waiting for us. No matter how far we travel, may we never forget the way back. We will return home! 🌙 Runa's Note I wanted to focus on the stories of those forced to leave their homes in ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE. Rather than emphasizing the original song's sacred and almost mythical atmosphere, I wanted to make it feel warmer, more personal, and closer to everyday life. With balalaika, bayan, a sweet female voice, and a gradually growing Soviet-style choir, I tried to turn the song into a simple wish shared by everyone far from home. I hope it reminds you of somewhere, or someone, you miss. 📜 Lyrics: https://sovia.work/sound/?q=122tU6lQbIY 🎧 Source recording: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cW6zBuO7sb4 🚩 More from the archive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4i3NFI3ldK4&list=PLlqU20zJZWDYR0pIpbnac3FQWEX8H0Ae8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uwl1pBy9F8&list=PLlqU20zJZWDYR0pIpbnac3FQWEX8H0Ae8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=waVCWd4IpyM&list=PLlqU20zJZWDYR0pIpbnac3FQWEX8H0Ae8 #ACECombat #comradesovia #
