How This Man Built a Stone House in the Forest | From Start To Finish

I built a wood and stone house alone in the forest from scratch — and turned the land around it into somewhere worth coming back to. The walls combine round timber framing and fieldstone masonry — each material doing what it does best, wood for structure, stone for mass and weather resistance. Every stone sourced from the ground around the build site, laid by hand course by course. The exterior came together as the walls went up — the land cleared, leveled, and arranged into a proper space outside the front door. Inside I decorated the walls, built all the furniture from wood on site, and set the whole interior up for real long-term living. Stone, timber, and one forest. A survival house that looks like it belongs there. For business inquiries and collaborations: [email protected]
