Why People Think 'Hindu' Is a Slur - The Real Indian History

Is the word "Hindu" actually a slur - meaning thief, black, or slave? This is the real Indian history behind it, traced step by step: from the Sindhu River, through Darius's Persian inscriptions and the Avesta, using an actual Indo-Iranian sound law (the same one that turned Sanskrit "sapta" into Avestan "hapta"). Then we follow it forward to Hafez's 14th-century Persian poetry and the Ghaznavid slave trade - which is where the negative meaning actually came from, 1,500+ years after the word itself. We also tackle a second claim: that the Vedas are only as old as their oldest surviving manuscript (1464 CE). Using the Spitzer Manuscript (130 CE), the Ayodhya Ashvamedha inscription, the Tarighat Samaveda seal, the Junnar Kramapatha inscription, and even Buddhist scripture itself, we show why that claim doesn't hold up.
