SCIENCE 5 TERM 2 WEEK 2 - How air moves In and Out of the Lungs

Learning Objectives: 1. Illustrate how air moves in and out of the lungs through observing a lung model. 2. Create a simple model of the respiratory system. When we inhale, air enters the respiratory system and moves into the lungs. The lungs expand as they fill with air. When we exhale, air moves out of the lungs. The lungs become smaller as air leaves them. We inhale air that contains oxygen, and we exhale air that contains more carbon dioxide.
