Sharda (50) (Approaching the stove, somewhat hurriedly): Oh *Bahu* (daughter-in-law), is the *kadhi-chawal* ready yet? Kavya (27) (Wiping her sweat-drenched face and smiling): Yes, *Maa-ji*, the rice is done, and the *kadhi* is almost ready too.
