After her mother discovered her father's infidelity and drove them both to their deaths, Xie Jin inherited plummeting stock prices and a will that left all shares to her father's illegitimate son, Lu Ling. Determined to reclaim the company, she instead learned that she was not biologically related to her father.Filled with hatred and resentment, Xie Jin forcibly brought Lu Ling, her nominal younger brother, into her home under the guise of guardianship to keep him under surveillance. Lu Ling, highly talented and rebellious, harbored resentment toward Xie Jin for her mother's role in his parents' deaths. The two despised each other at first sight. Xie Jin sought to tame this unruly wild dog, but as their daily confrontations continued, she was moved by the vulnerability hidden beneath his cold exterior.
