Description
Why did German soldiers fear American artillery more than American tanks, planes, or rifles?
In this video, we go from the first U.S. artillery failures in North Africa to the system that changed how the war was fought: forward observers, the Fire Direction Center, and the "Time on Target" method that put shells from many guns on the same spot at the same second. We look at what German soldiers, officers, and commanders said about it in their own words.
