The Black Clouds of Duck Valley Reservation. Scary/Horror Stories. #horrorstories #scarystories

It was September 23rd, 1957 when 35 year old Wesley Lerado Stambach was flying down Idaho’s desert Highway 51 on his cherry red 1952 Harley Davidson FL Hydra-Glide. He was almost to Duck Valley Reservation when he saw the darkest clouds he’d ever seen not too far in the distance. He knew he had no choice but to stop in town and get out of the storm before it hit. He’d been released from Idaho’s State Penitentiary 6 months prior having served 10 years for manslaughter and had seen almost everything during his prison stint but the terrifying events that happened over the next 24 hours paled in comparison to what he witnessed. For decades he’d hinted to his family about something unbelievable happening that day but told no one the details of what took place, knowing no one would believe him. It wasn’t until a week before he passed away did he finally reveal everything. This is the story he told his grown son and daughter.
