They Found a Trap Door Under a Peru Cathedral… | Joe Rogan

A priest in Cusco moved an altar and opened a trap door. Under the cathedral crypt is a blocked opening he called the Shinkana — a trapezoidal tunnel lined with the same stonework as the Inca walls above, running on until the flashlight died. Those walls are the part the Spanish city could not match. Blocks fitted so tight a blade will not pass, joints that ride out earthquakes while colonial churches crack. Some researchers argue the faces were not only cut. They were fused, acid or heat locking stone to stone. The same underground pattern shows up far from Peru: a buried city in Turkey, caves in China with no builder on record. In the Andes the shape repeats — stepped form, Chakana, the same design stamped from Cusco to Tiwanaku. The legend said the tunnel was there. The priest confirmed it. What is still behind the bricks is the part nobody has finished digging.
