Solo Bushcraft:I Built a Cozy Survival Shelter & Tested It in the Rain

I Built a Survival Shelter in the Wilderness… Then the Rain Came 🌧️🌲 What happens when you build your own shelter deep in the forest — and a heavy rainstorm arrives before you’re ready? In this solo bushcraft adventure, I head deep into the wilderness with only basic tools and the resources around me. My goal is to build a cozy, weatherproof survival shelter completely from natural materials and create a safe place to spend the night. I carefully choose the location, gather branches, logs, bark, leaves, and firewood, then start building the shelter from the ground up. But building the shelter is only half the challenge… 🌧️ The real test begins when the rain starts. As the weather changes and the forest gets soaked, I put the shelter through a real-world rain test to find out if it can actually keep me warm, dry, and protected from the elements. 🔥 Inside, I build a fire, prepare a simple camp, and settle in while the rain continues outside. No tent. No cabin. No modern shelter. Just wilderness, basic bushcraft skills, natural materials, and one night alone in the forest. Stay until the end to see the finished survival shelter, the rain test, and how well it actually performs during the storm.
