BREAKING: Stones, Soil and Bottles Fly as Ruto Flees Podium in Sigor

A presidential development tour turned into a battlefield. President William Ruto’s meeting in Sigor, West Pokot, was cut short after rival political groups disrupted the gathering, hurling stones, soil and water bottles at leaders. Governor Simon Kachapin, Senator Julius Murgor, Woman Rep Rael Kasiwai and Sigor MP Peter Lochakapong were heckled. Pokot South MP David Pkosing, who is eyeing the governor’s seat, was pelted as he tried to speak. Reports also say one person died and several were critically injured in overnight clashes between groups allied to Lochakapong and Pkosing before the President arrived. Watch to the end for the full breakdown of what happened, who is fighting whom, and why the 2027 race in West Pokot is already boiling over.
