In this video, I take you through every level of the universe — starting with quarks and the subatomic particles hidden inside matter, before building upwards into atomic nuclei, complete atoms, molecules, living cells and the human body. From there, we continue growing until individual people disappear across the surface of Earth, our planet becomes a tiny dot beside the Sun, and the entire Solar System shrinks into one small region among billions of stars. We’ll explore why atoms are mostly empty space but still form solid objects, how gravity creates planets and ignites stars, and why most of the Solar System is almost completely empty. Finally, entire stars become specks inside the Milky Way, galaxies disappear into the Observable Universe, and we move beyond confirmed science to explore the possibility that our universe may be only one among many.
