Description
What if the exhausting part of healing isn’t growth itself—but never allowing yourself to stop being a project? 🌿
We journal, meditate, track our habits, work on our emotions, and try to become healthier, calmer, and more confident. These things can help us grow. But when the mind is constantly asking “Am I better yet?”, self-improvement can quietly become another form of self-surveillance.
In this reflection, we explore a different approach through Buddhist wisdom: recognizing the fixer’s mind, practicing Tathātā (Suchness), moving into mindful observation, allowing yourself to remain unfinished, and giving growth enough space to happen without constantly measuring it. 🪷
You can care deeply about your life without turning every day into a progress report. Some of the healthiest growth happens quietly, while you are busy living rather than checking whether you are becoming better fast enough. 🙏
Sometimes healing begins when you stop treating yourself like a project—and allow yourself to be a person for a while.
