His Morning Was a DISASTER! 😱 | Daily Routine in English (A1–A2)
Alex skipped his morning routine—and suddenly EVERYTHING went wrong! 😱⏰
In this Daily Routine in English story for A1–A2 learners, practice everyday English while following Alex and his family from morning until bedtime.
At 7:43 in the morning, Alex is rushing through the house with only ONE shoe on. Lily cannot find her homework notebook, Dad has burned the toast, and everyone is trying to leave for school.
How did their morning become so crazy?
Earlier that morning, Alex's alarm rang at 6:30. He asked for five more minutes... but those five minutes became thirty-five!
Now Alex has to get dressed, brush his teeth, wash his face, eat breakfast, find his homework, find his missing shoe, check his backpack and get ready for school—all while watching the clock.
Alex thinks routines are boring.
But Lily shows him something surprising:
A good routine does not take away your free time.
It can actually GIVE you more free time because you spend less time searching, forgetting things and rushing.
Throughout the day, Alex learns useful daily routine English at home, at school and after school.
He learns how to:
wake up
get out of bed
make the bed
brush his teeth
wash his face
get dressed
eat breakfast
check his school bag
go to school
put things away
wash his hands
eat a snack
rest
do homework
finish chores
eat dinner
prepare for tomorrow
get ready for bed
go to sleep
Alex also practices useful sequence words such as:
FIRST → THEN → NEXT → BEFORE → AFTER
After school, Alex wants to play video games immediately—but first he learns to put away his backpack, wash his hands, eat a snack, rest for a few minutes and finish his homework.
Something surprising happens:
When Alex finally focuses, he finishes his homework faster than expected and has MORE time to play!
That evening, the family does chores, prepares dinner, packs school bags, puts shoes together and gets ready for the next morning.
But will Alex remember everything when his alarm rings again at 6:30?
Watch until the end to see his completely different morning! ⏰✨
