This Sheepdog Protected Penguins From Deadly Foxes

When foxes repeatedly attacked a penguin colony on Middle Island, Australia, only four penguins remained. Farmer Allan “Swampy” Marsh came up with an unusual solution: he sent his Maremma sheepdog, Oddball, to protect them. The foxes stayed away, and the protection program continued with other trained dogs. Eventually, the penguin colony recovered to nearly 200 birds.
