Sifuna Hits Back at Ruto: "The Housing Levy Will Go With You!" After Koffi Olomide Bar Jibe

Ruto mocked Edwin Sifuna as "Mr Empty" in West Pokot, joking about the Empty Party, a bar and Koffi Olomide. Sifuna responded with the 24K housing levy, the 43K SHA deductions and the 500K PAYE, and promised that the housing levy will go with Ruto in 2027. Here is the full breakdown of the exchange, what each man is really saying, and why Kenyan workers are paying attention. Watch to the end for what this means for the 2027 race. --- # TIMESTAMPS 0:00 Ruto's jab, Sifuna's receipt 0:30 What Ruto said in West Pokot 1:30 Sifuna's reply: 24K, 43K and 500K 3:00 "The housing levy will go with Ruto" 4:15 Why Kenyans are backing Sifuna 5:15 The road to 2027 MAISHA TV – Kenya’s News Voice of Truth, Insight & Impact 🏆 KUZA Award–Winning news Broadcaster | Top 5 Most-Watched TV Channel in Kenya (2024–2025) – Media Council of Kenya We bring you breaking news, fearless investigative journalism, and powerful human stories that shape conversations in Kenya, Africa, and across the globe.
