Michael Bennett & Ethan Bennett – LORD, DON’T LEAVE HIM ALONE | Heartbreaking Christian Song

LORD, DON’T LEAVE HIM ALONE is a deeply emotional Christian song about an elderly grandfather who knows his time on earth may be growing short. His greatest fear is not leaving this world — it is leaving behind the little boy who still needs his hand, his prayers, and his love. As the grandfather asks God to stay beside the child when he can no longer be there, the boy gives a heartbreaking answer of his own: he understands that Jesus will always be with him… but he still wants Grandpa. This song is about aging, family, faith, love, and the painful thought of saying goodbye before a child is ready. If this story reminds you of someone you love, hold them close while you still can.
