REAL ANIMALS Gracie ➔ Wolf Animation: Young survivor who overcomes her learned distrust of other species to cooperate and save the Zoo. Real World: Social predator depending on strong pack bonds, clear communication, and teamwork to hunt and survive. Poot ➔ Pygmy Hippo Animation: Quirky, fast-talking youngster oblivious to the outbreak's danger, staying safe by sticking close to the group. Real World: Mostly solitary forest dweller moving quietly through wetlands to feed on lush vegetation. Xavier ➔ Red-Ruffed Lemur Animation: Movie-obsessed, lock-picking lemur who fakes injuries to watch films and uses survival tropes to aid his friends. Real World: Highly agile canopy dweller relying on sharp senses and strong limbs to navigate tree branches. Dan ➔ Mountain Lion Animation: Muscular, confident survivor projecting independence who must learn trust and cooperation in a crisis. Real World: Solitary apex predator relying on stealth, agility, and explosive power to stalk and hunt prey. Felix ➔ Proboscis Monkey Animation: Pompous, self-absorbed monkey who declares himself leader and blames others when plans go wrong. Real World: Social primate equipped with strong limbs and impressive swimming abilities tailored for forest environments. Ash ➔ Ostrich Animation: Sarcastic, dramatic survivor expecting disaster at every turn while deeply caring for his companions. Real World: Speedy plain dweller using incredible eyesight and powerful kicking legs to detect and outrun danger. Frida ➔ Capybara Animation: Feisty, quick-thinking survivor who isn't afraid to challenge others and act fast under pressure. Real World: Highly social, semi-aquatic rodent relying on keen senses and strong swimming skills to stay safe. Bunny Zero ➔ Bunny / Rabbit Animation: Patient Zero whose infection transforms her from a harmless bunny into a dangerous disease spreader. Real World: Skittish prey animal utilizing sharp hearing and rapid jumping agility to dart into protective shelter. Fred ➔ Gorilla Animation: Mutated, rampaging Gumbeast turning raw muscular strength into a mindless, destructive force. Real World: Gentle giant using its massive physique for foraging, climbing, and defending its social family group. Zombie Antelopes ➔ Blackbuck Antelope Animation: Grotesquely distorted mutants featuring unnaturally elongated legs and twisted horns. Real World: Swift, alert open-field runners relying on speed, agility, and herd coordination to evade predators. Zombie Giraffe ➔ Giraffe Animation: Heavily infected giant capable of merging with Fred the Gorilla to form a bizarre, multi-species Gumbeast. Real World: Towering herbivore using its long neck to reach high canopy leaves while scanning the plains for danger. Zombie Chicks ➔ Chick Animation: Glowing gummy-bodied mutants with sharp teeth and detachable heads that aggressively attack other animals. Real World: Vulnerable hatchlings depending entirely on their mother for warmth, guidance, and protection. Zombie Tree Frog ➔ Tree Frog Animation: Severely mutated amphibian featuring an elongated head and an unnaturally long, whipping tongue. Real World: Agile climber using sticky toe pads and rapid tongue strikes to snatch insects while staying hidden.
