BATMAN vs FREDDY KRUEGER: THE CONTINGENCY PLAN [ANIMATED SHORT]

What would Batman’s contingency plan look like if he had to stop Freddy Krueger? This fan-made animated short explores that exact scenario. After a series of mysterious deaths linked to recurring nightmares, Batman begins investigating Freddy Krueger — a sadistic killer who hunts his victims in their dreams, where fear becomes a weapon and falling asleep can be fatal. But Batman doesn’t simply fight his enemies. He studies them. Their behavior. Their patterns. Their strengths. Their weaknesses. And, most importantly, how they can be contained. As Batman investigates Freddy’s origins and his control over the dream world, he begins developing a contingency plan specifically designed to confront the nightmare killer. But there is one problem: How do you prepare for an enemy who can enter your mind and turn your own trauma against you? This animation focuses on Batman’s investigation, preparation, tactical countermeasures and eventual confrontation with Freddy Krueger — a battle where staying awake buys time, but entering the nightmare may be the only way to end it.
