Installing Baseboards With a 2-in-1 Wood Glue & Filler

Here’s our process for installing and finishing wood baseboards, from cutting tight mitres to filling the final nail holes. We’re installing natural poplar baseboards and base shoe, using ​⁠@dapcanada Weldwood 2-in-1 Wood Glue & Filler, which is literally wood glue AND wood filler in the same tube. We use it to bond our mitred joints, add adhesion to the trim, and then fill nail holes and small imperfections. Once everything cures, it can be sanded smooth and finished along with the natural wood trim.
