Omanyo Heckled Off Stage at Kempinski: "Ground Imekataa!" Sifuna Boasts Backfire on ODM S.G

ODM Secretary-General Catherine Omanyo was allegedly heckled at Villa Rosa Kempinski during a meeting convened by the National Gender and Equality Commission, which brought together representatives of various political parties. Instead of focusing on the agenda, she allegedly brought ODM's internal drama into the room, boasting about how Edwin Sifuna was pushed out and how she is now the boss. The other party secretaries-general were not having it, and she was sent packing, with "Ground imekataa" ringing behind her. We also go back to the root of the storm: Sifuna's removal by ODM's National Executive Committee on February 11, 2026, and Omanyo's earlier claim that Sifuna did not prepare her for the role, leaving her "idle" as his deputy. Is this the beginning of deeper trouble inside ODM? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
