But when Maharishi Durvasa arrives and demands an immediate audience with Shri Ram, Lakshman faces an impossible choice: protect his brother’s promise or protect Ayodhya from the consequences of refusing the sage. Lakshman chooses Ayodhya. That single decision changes everything. Bound by Dharma and his own word, Shri Ram is forced to make one of the most painful decisions of his life. Lakshman peacefully leaves Ayodhya and approaches the sacred Sarayu, where his earthly journey reaches its divine conclusion. After losing his beloved brother, Shri Ram understands that the purpose of the Ram Avatar is nearing completion. He calls his final royal assembly, entrusts responsibilities to Lav and Kush, and announces that his time on Earth has come to an end. When the people of Ayodhya hear the news, countless devotees gather before their Lord. Their love is so deep that many ask to accompany Him on His final journey. The next morning, Shri Ram walks toward the sacred Sarayu, followed by Bharat, Shatrughna, Sugriva and countless devoted citizens. At the river, Shri Ram looks back at His beloved Ayodhya one final time. Then He slowly enters the sacred waters of the Sarayu. A divine light begins to spread across the river and the heavens. Within that celestial radiance, the earthly form of Shri Ram reveals its divine truth — the magnificent four-armed form of Lord Vishnu. The journey of Ram Avatar on Earth is complete.
