Description
Hello everyone, I’m Annie Tips — welcome back to my kitchen.
For a long time, whenever I wanted sweet potatoes, I simply put them in a pot of water and boiled them.
It’s familiar and convenient, but boiling them directly in water can leave the potatoes a little watery and less fragrant.
So today, I’m doing it differently.
In this video, I’ll show you step by step how I “boil” sweet potatoes in an air fryer without using water.
I’ll prepare three sweet potatoes in three different ways and cook them in the same batch so you can clearly see how the texture changes.
One method gives a soft, moist texture, another is pleasantly firm and fragrant, while the butter-and-salt version becomes rich, golden, and especially aromatic.
I’ll also show you the temperatures I use at each stage and share a simple bonus idea for using cooked sweet potatoes in another way.
