Only one was still standing when the story broke, and the reason why changed how I think about heat, money, and dirt forever. In this video I take you into the caves in Modesto with fireplaces carved straight into the earth, seven undetected years under Hampstead Heath in London, fifteen hundred people living inside the flood tunnels under Las Vegas, the Freedom Tunnel in New York, and a full wooden house built beside a freeway in Los Angeles that nobody ever tore down. Every one of these men, thousands of miles apart, arrived at the same answer with no instruction manual: the ground under your feet is the cheapest heating system ever built, and it's been free for a hundred years while the rest of us paid a bill for the same warmth. I break down exactly why the earth works, why some shelters survive and others don't, and the one factor — placement — that separates a man who stays warm for seven years from one who loses everything in a single afternoon. 🔥🪓 This channel exists to hand men like you the poor man's knowledge nobody bothers teaching anymore, because there's nothing to sell you about a shovel and some dirt. #stealthshelter #vanlifesurvival #urbansheltering #freehousing #shelterbuilding
