Trapped by the Mountain Storm – Building a Stone Shelter to Survive

Rain hammered like a sledge; gasping, I reached the mouth of a small cave and knew I had to act fast. I rested for a few minutes, but when the storm intensified and daylight faded, I ran back out into the downpour to gather stones and build a stone shelter. I stacked rocks quickly and deliberately, sealed gaps to keep water and wind out, and lined the floor with a warm blanket. Then I lit a small stove to stay warm and cook dinner; the stove’s warm glow cut through the cold, damp air. All night I monitored the flame, adjusted ventilation to let smoke escape, and kept my gear close to stay dry. This video is a hands‑on survival and bushcraft guide showing how to build an emergency stone shelter, manage fire safely inside a confined space, and survive a mountain storm with limited tools.
