Barbara Stanwyck & Barry Sullivan in One of the Most Intriguing Westerns of the 1950s

In the lawless years after the Civil War, a mysterious stranger rides into Wyoming and quickly becomes involved with a powerful saloon owner who has built her fortune in a dangerous frontier town. What appears to be a chance encounter soon draws him into a world of outlaws, gambling, robbery, and hidden loyalties. Kit Banion is no ordinary saloon keeper. She has connections to some of the most notorious criminals in the West, including the Wild Bunch. When the stranger earns her attention, she offers him a place inside her operation, unaware that his real intentions are very different from what he claims. The newcomer is actually an undercover Pinkerton detective using a false identity to infiltrate the gang. As he gets closer to the outlaws, the mission becomes increasingly complicated by Kit's growing interest in him and the jealousy of the dangerous Sundance. When a train robbery sets off a chain of violence and innocent people become caught in the middle, the detective's carefully constructed identity begins to unravel. With the outlaws closing in and his cover in danger, he must make a desperate choice that could cost him his life. **Chapters / Timecodes:** 00:00 – The Stranger Arrives 09:18 – The Saloon Queen 20:42 – Among the Outlaws 32:16 – A Secret Identity 44:38 – Sundance Becomes Suspicious 57:24 – The Train Robbery 1:10:46 – The Cover Is in Danger 1:24:18 – Trapped by the Gang 1:37:42 – The Final Showdown **Movie Facts:** * **Release Year:** 1956 * **Genre:** Western, Drama, Action * **Language:** English * **Starring:** Barbara Stanwyck, Barry Sullivan, Scott Brady, Mary Murphy, Wallace Ford, Howard Petrie, Jim Davis #Western #ClassicWestern #WesternDrama #BarbaraStanwyck #BarrySullivan #ScottBrady #MaryMurphy #HowardPetrie #JimDavis #WildWest #Outlaws #PinkertonDetective #TrainRobbery #Cowboys #Frontier #ClassicCinema
