The Mummy With Something Hidden in Her Throat #shorts

Scientists scanned an ancient Egyptian mummy and found something packed into her throat, tied in place on purpose. She was a singer-priestess of Amun at Karnak, a woman whose entire role depended on her voice. Researchers think the packing was meant to protect that voice into the afterlife, since the Egyptians believed the dead needed to speak to recite spells and survive the journey beyond. So her throat wasn't removed. It was sealed, like something precious. #EgyptianHistory #AncientEgypt #Mummy #Archaeology #History #AncientHistory #Egypt #WomensHistory #MummyFacts #ancientmysteries #Civilizations #Documentary #historydocumentary Note: The voice-protection explanation is a researcher's interpretation of CT findings, not a confirmed fact. Egyptologists continue to study these practices. Sources: CT/tomography studies of singer-priestess mummies of Amun, Egyptian funerary text traditions, museum collection records
