Description

Do you secretly fear festivals instead of looking forward to them? 💔 For some women, Onam, Christmas, Eid and other celebrations are not days of happiness. They are days filled with anxiety, emotional pain, domestic violence, arguments, fear and tears. While everyone around them is celebrating, wearing new clothes and enjoying a family meal, some women are silently struggling to keep their homes together. This video is for every woman who has ever felt that her happiness had to come last. If you have ever prepared the entire feast but could not sit down and enjoy one peaceful meal… If you have bought new clothes for everyone but forgotten yourself… If you are afraid that your husband’s drinking may turn a celebration into a night of fear… If you constantly sacrifice your peace for everyone else… Please remember this: YOUR HAPPINESS MATTERS TOO. ❤️ Domestic violence is not only physical violence. Emotional abuse, humiliation, threats, intimidation, controlling money, constant insults and behaviour that makes a woman live in fear can also be forms of abuse. A husband’s alcohol use may explain certain behaviour, but it does NOT justify violence or abuse. You do not have to normalise violence by saying, “He was drunk,” “He is my husband,” or “Every family has problems.” At the same time, every woman’s situation is different. Leaving immediately may not be safe or financially possible for everyone. Safety should come first. Reaching out to a trusted person, seeking professional support and understanding your legal options can be important steps. In this video, we talk about: • Why some women are afraid of festivals and family celebrations • Domestic violence and emotional abuse • The connection between alcohol abuse and family violence • Why physical violence should never be normalised • Financial control and emotional manipulation • Why women should not completely lose themselves while caring for their families • The importance of financial independence and personal safety • How to slowly rebuild your confidence and happiness • Why your mental peace, dignity and future matter • A powerful reminder for women who have forgotten their own happiness If you are a woman who has spent years making everyone else happy while silently carrying your own pain, this video is for you. You deserve to sit down and enjoy your own feast. You deserve to buy something beautiful for yourself. You deserve to smile without fear. You deserve peace. You deserve a life where celebrations do not make you afraid. You are not weak. You have value. Your peace has value. Your happiness has value. ❤️ If this message touched your heart, please LIKE this video, SHARE it with a woman who may need to hear it, and SUBSCRIBE to Fairy Frames for more meaningful conversations about women, beauty, confidence, self-worth and a better life after 40. 💬 COMMENT below: Have you ever felt afraid of a festival because of what might happen at home?
