Description

A forgotten race car with a mind of her own gets one last chance at glory in this fun underdog racing story about a living Beetle, a fearless young driver and a comeback nobody saw coming. After a terrible crash ends her long winning streak, a once legendary race car ends up in a scrapyard, waiting to be crushed. Then Maggie Peyton, a new college graduate from a struggling racing family, goes looking for a cheap graduation gift, and the old Beetle makes sure she is the one that goes home with her. Maggie soon finds out this little car drives herself, has real feelings and never backs down from a challenge. After a surprise street race against reigning champion Trip Murphy, Maggie starts racing in secret under a fake name, hiding the truth from her overprotective father while his team slowly falls apart. But a jealous car, an angry rival and one risky bet push everything to the edge, and Maggie has to decide how far she will go to fight for the friend she almost lost and the racing dream she buried years ago.
