Description
If the money runs out before the month does, and you can't say which week took it: https://tsukamotoledger.com
The Ledger has my mother's four-week sheet, the four questions she asked of every month, and the March Question.
421 pages, 86 chapters, every claim sourced. $47 early-bird, 30-day refund.
I grew up in a Japanese house. I've now lived in America longer than I lived in Japan.
Everyone tells you the end of the month is a discipline problem. It isn't. A month that arrives in one piece gets spent from the front, and nobody sees the last week coming until it's here.
My mother kept her month in four pieces, with eight small habits, from four numbers on the kitchen calendar to a coin can that stayed shut until New Year. Each one ends on a question you can ask yourself this week. The last is a question she asked out loud the night before payday, and the answer wasn't in the bank.
Where America is right: your bank app shows you more than her passbook ever could, and some months are simply short, because a habit is not a raise.
This channel explains systems and habits. It isn't financial advice. For your own money decisions, talk to a financial adviser who knows your situation.
If you make it to the end, leave one word in the comments: done. And tell me which week of the month is hardest for you: one, two, three or four?
For the house those habits live in, that's my main channel, Two Houses: @kentsukamoto
