The Thief Who Wanted to Be Forgiven: The Complete Gambit Story (Sleep Story)

Settle in for a long, calm journey through the complete life of Remy LeBeau, the X-Man known as Gambit. Tonight's story follows Gambit through the main Marvel comic continuity, from a baby with ember-red eyes taken from a New Orleans hospital by the Thieves Guild, to an arranged marriage that ended in a duel, to the debt he owed Mister Sinister and his hidden role in the Mutant Massacre. We follow his friendship with a de-aged Storm, his decades-long love story with Rogue, the Trial of Gambit in Antarctica, his transformation into Apocalypse's Horseman of Death, his wedding, his death and rebirth in the age of Krakoa, and the strange place his story stands today. Told slowly and gently, this is a story you can fall asleep to at any point without losing the thread. This video covers the comics (Earth-616). Alternate realities such as the Age of Apocalypse are clearly marked when they appear. #xmen #marvel #sleepdocumentary #comichistory #fallasleep #relaxingvoice #comicbooklore
