Description

One of the best parts of Spider-Man comics is how real they can feel. The character and his supporting cast feel relatable, and at least for the first 30 years or so, Spider-Man progressed just like you and I! And the comics tap so into real life that sometimes they commentate on real world problems/worry. Like the worry that most American's should have about mass surveillance. Everyday more and more companies like Flock inc install surveillance hardware/software that is supposed to monitor criminal activity but instead seems to just log data to any unaware civilian. The tech has already been used to negatively affect innocent lives and it feels like something straight outta the movies! So join me in this video as I relate it back to an old Spider-Man story arc that warned about the dangers with mass surveillance. #spiderman #flock #marvel #mcu #spidermanbrandnewday #comics #comic #comicbooks #marvelcomics #spidermancomic #newyork #bigbrother #1984 #civilrightsmovement
