God, Make Me New – Phil Wickham Inspired | Powerful Christian Worship Song Video 2026

God, Make Me New | Phil Wickham Inspired Worship | Emotional Christian Worship What if the hardest part of leaving a painful season isn't what happened to you—but what that season left inside you? The bitterness. The fear. The shame. The old habits. The walls you built because you didn't want to be hurt again. “God, Make Me New” is an emotional contemporary Christian worship song about bringing those hidden places to Jesus and asking Him to transform the heart from the inside out. “God, make me new Give me a heart that wants You again Wash away the bitterness And teach me how to trust again.” This is a prayer for anyone who knows they don't want to remain the person their pain created. Maybe you've been carrying anger for years. Maybe disappointment changed the way you trust. Maybe you've fallen back into habits you promised yourself you'd leave behind. Maybe shame keeps reminding you of who you used to be. But your past doesn't have to write the rest of your story. Bring it to Jesus. Ask Him to take the fear. Take the shame. Take the bitterness. Take the things you can't change. And breathe new life into the places that feel worn out. “Jesus, breathe Your life into me. God, make me new.” 🙏 Use this song for prayer, personal worship, quiet time, healing, reflection, or moments when you need a fresh beginning. If you're starting over, recovering from a painful season, or simply asking God to change your heart, let this song become your prayer today. You don't have to pretend you're already whole. You can come to Jesus exactly as you are. 🎵 SONG DETAILS Song: God, Make Me New Genre: Contemporary Christian Worship Theme: Transformation • Grace • Healing • New Heart • Hope Mood: Emotional • Vulnerable • Prayerful • Hopeful • Powerful Style: Cinematic / Modern Worship This is an original independent worship song, not an official Phil Wickham recording, collaboration, or endorsement. “Phil Wickham Inspired” refers only to broad contemporary worship characteristics and does not imitate his voice.
