Description
🔗 At our age, 65°F indoors can already be dangerous. What doctors say, and how to heat for less anyway: https://larshalvorsen.com
I've spent fifty-one winters burning wood in this house, and I still had to learn that a face cord, a rick and a truckload are three sizes sold under names with no legal meaning. A cord is one hundred twenty-eight cubic feet, stacked tight, the only size the law defines. Last fall you likely paid for one of the loose words instead, sized at whatever the seller decided. I go through six of them, what each one holds, and the arithmetic that tells you if you paid fair.
Fifty-one winters in the same Norwegian farmhouse, so you keep the heat in without hiring anybody. Subscribe, and I'll see you in the next one.
