No Celebrity Has WILD Stories Like Kurt Russell

Kurt Russell's first job in the movies was to kick Elvis Presley in the shins. Sixteen years later he played him. These are the stories he tells about sixty years in Hollywood, and the ones his own family tells about him. Kurt Russell began his journey in the film industry as a child, eventually becoming a staple of cinema with a filmography that defies easy categorization. This compilation gathers his own reflections on the roles that defined his trajectory, alongside the perspectives of his family, to paint a picture of a life lived entirely on set. With Goldie Hawn, Oliver Hudson, Kate Hudson, Jimmy Kimmel, David Letterman, Kelly Clarkson, Conan O'Brien and Seth Meyers, and the stories behind Elvis, Escape from New York, The Thing, Swing Shift, Big Trouble in Little China, Overboard, Backdraft, Tombstone and The Hateful Eight. From the surreal anecdotes involving Walt Disney to the chaotic productions of his most iconic classic movies, he recounts the reality behind the lens. These acting anecdotes reveal the truth of working in the industry, stripped of the usual PR polish, and offer a candid look at the Hollywood stories that shaped his path from a kid on a bike to a screen legend.
