Rusalonky | Summer Fantasy Folk Music | Slavic Folklore | 4K Music Video

“Rusalonky” is a haunting fantasy folk song inspired by ancient Slavic folklore, telling the story of the mysterious and sometimes dangerous water spirits known as rusalky. With their green hair, enchanting songs, and hypnotic dances, they awaken most strongly during Green Week, when the veil between the human world and the waters grows thin. 💙🌿💛 In old Slavic legends, rusalky are beautiful yet perilous female water spirits, often believed to be the restless souls of young women who drowned. They are known for their pale skin, flowing green hair, green eyes, and hauntingly beautiful voices. In darker tales, they lure unsuspecting men into deep waters with song and dance. Yet rusalky are not only spirits of danger — they are also tied to the living breath of nature. When a rusalka combs her long green hair with her enchanted comb, rain falls over the fields and helps the crops grow strong. ✨🎶🌙 In this story, a young fisherman comes to a forest lake just before Green Week begins. There he encounters a circle of rusalky and falls under the spell of one of them. But unlike others, he is saved by his gift: he is a gifted flute musician, and the rusalky loved his music. All night long, the water spirits dance to the sound of his flute beneath the moonlit sky. And when dawn comes, they leave him behind — soaked, breathless, and forever haunted by the magical memory of the beautiful beings who danced for him by the lake. (Lyrics) Rusalonky When Green Week wakes in the meadow, And the moon is pale and bright, From the rivers, from the deep lakes, Maidens rise through silver light. With their green hair long and flowing, With their green eyes bright and wide, They rise laughing from the water, From the deep and secret tide. Rusalonky, Rusalonky, Daughters of the waters deep, Dance until the dawn turns golden, Sing until the fields awake. Comb your hair with moonlit silver, Call the rain across the lea, Rusalonky, Rusalonky, Do not sing your songs to me. Rusalonky, Rusalonky, Do not sing your songs to me. Do not follow laughing voices, Do not trust those mossy eyes, For their hands are soft as flowers, But their home is cold and wide. Under lilies, under moonlight, Under waves that never part, They may take a foolish lover, Keep him sleeping near their heart. When Green Week fades in the morning, And the mist lies on the shore, They return beneath the water, Singing softly evermore... #FantasyFolkMusic #SlavicFolklore #SummerMusic
