A Peaceful Rainy Day in 1990s India 🌧️ | Village Life, Cooking & Handloom Saree | Ghibli Style ASMR

Step back into the 1990s, when life in an Indian village was simple, slow and deeply connected to nature. 🌧️🌿 On this peaceful rainy day, a village family spends a beautiful day at home, surrounded by the soothing sounds of rain, traditional cooking, handloom weaving and the peaceful beauty of the countryside. Inside the old rustic mud kitchen, a traditional homemade meal is prepared slowly and with care. Fresh ingredients are cooked over a traditional mud stove, creating the comforting sounds and aromas of an old village kitchen. The husband spends part of the rainy day working on a traditional wooden handloom, carefully weaving a beautiful saree by hand. Rich turmeric-yellow threads come together with a deep maroon border and delicate antique-gold details, slowly turning into a beautiful handmade saree. ❤️ After finishing the saree, he carefully folds it and brings it to his wife as a heartfelt handmade gift. Her happiness makes the simple moment even more special. The family then comes together for a warm traditional meal served on fresh banana leaves placed directly on the floor. Steaming rice is served first, followed by plain mudda pappu, crispy brinjal fry, bhindi fry and golden potato fry. A little golden ghee is added over the hot rice, and fresh curd is served alongside the meal. Husband and wife sit together on the floor, each with their own banana leaf, mixing the food by hand and enjoying their simple homemade meal while the heavy rain continues outside. After their meal, they sit together peacefully on the traditional veranda, watching the rain fall over the beautiful garden. Rain-soaked hibiscus, jasmine, parijatham, roses and lush green plants sway gently in the cool monsoon breeze. Every little moment is inspired by the beauty of old village life — traditional cooking, handwoven sarees, homemade food, banana leaf meals, simple family moments, rain-soaked flowers, peaceful veranda evenings and the comforting rhythm of a rainy day in 1990s Ind
