Two Hyenas Grabbed His Mother. The Baby Badger Didn't Run

🦡 A baby honey badger grabbed a five-metre python by the tail — and refused to let go, even with a hyena closing in behind him. ⚡ What began as four hyenas trying to dig a mother honey badger out of her own den turned into something nobody saw coming. 🐍 She drove them back across the open ground, but they cornered her and forced her all the way home, to the one door she could not abandon — because her cub was behind it. Then one hyena stopped fighting. It walked around the mound to a second entrance she couldn't see, and it began to dig its way in. She had no idea it was there. But something else was already down in the dark. The digger felt it long before it saw it, and it did not stay to look. Five metres of African rock python — and now the back door was open. 🌾 What follows is one of the strangest standoffs on the savanna: the mother fighting the python at the front of the burrow while her cub circled around to the back and locked its jaws onto the tail. Twelve weeks old, taking on the other end of the same snake. And the hyena that had been digging never actually left — it was lying in the grass the whole time, waiting for something worth taking. ☀️ She lost the fight in the open. She lost the door. She lost the tunnel. And she was still standing over the only thing she was ever defending. 🎬 This video is AI-generated cinematic wildlife content created for storytelling and entertainment.
