Yamano Ryou — unemployed, martial artist, freakishly hard to put down — waits on the empty platform to find out for herself. One train, five hours until dawn, every car full of hands. YAMANO RYOU AND THE CHIKAN TRAIN is a 2D belt-scroll beat-'em-up with roguelike runs. Fight through the train car by car, five stages from 01:00 to 05:00 AM, each with its own crowd and a boss at the end. Every attack has a height — low, mid, high — and there is no block button: you crouch under it, jump over it, or hang from the ceiling rail. Grab them before they grab you. Get grabbed and you mash to break free. Fail, and arousal climbs, the hold turns into a capture scene, and the car keeps feeding. Go down for good and the run ends — but everything you've seen stays in the gallery.
