The Giant With an Absurdly Deep Voice Paid a Terrible Price

The Giant With an Absurdly Deep Voice Paid a Terrible Price. Javier Castellanos became known online as the giant man with the incredibly deep voice, but the viral clips revealed only a fraction of his story. Born in Guatemala, Javier developed gigantism and eventually reached around 235 cm — 7'8½" tall. Behind that extraordinary size was a devastating medical struggle involving severe bone deformities, osteoporosis, hydrocephalus and an unknown syndrome that had also affected his twin brother, Rodrigo. As Javier grew larger, he lost the ability to walk and became dependent on a specially made bed and wheelchair. This documentary tells the full story of Javier Castellanos — his extreme height, remarkable deep voice, mysterious condition, family life and the terrible physical price of his extraordinary growth. #javiercastellanos #gigantism #deepvoice #giantman #thehumanexception
