Someone Weighed Down a Pet Carrier With Rocks Before a Hailstorm — What She Found Broke Her Heart

Someone Weighed Down a Pet Carrier With Rocks Before a Hailstorm — What She Found Broke Her Heart Just before a hailstorm hit San Antonio, a school employee noticed something that didn't belong in the back parking lot. A pet carrier was wedged between two large rocks. Even stranger, someone had placed more rocks on top of it. Nobody knew how long it had been sitting there, or why it had been left that way. Thankfully, the employee decided to investigate rather than walk away. That decision brought Animal Care Officer Melissa Duran to the scene—and what began as a strange discovery soon became a rescue that meant much more than simply escaping the storm.
