What happens when an experienced U.S. Navy captain underestimates Japan’s Mogami-class frigate? During a fictionalized naval exercise, the American commander believes that a smaller, less expensive Japanese warship cannot compete with the powerful U.S. Navy. But within just three minutes, an unexpected demonstration of advanced technology, tactical coordination, and combat-system integration forces him to reconsider everything he thought he knew. Discover what makes Japan’s Mogami-class frigate so intriguing, how modern naval warfare is changing, and why a warship’s true strength cannot be measured by its size or price alone.
